The term Industry 4.0 is used to describe the new industrial revolution that is taking place around the world. This new stage is being possible thanks to the convergence of different technologies, such as the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), intelligent mechanical systems, Cloud computing, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence. The union of these technologies allows to create smart factories, whose operation is safer and more efficient. Terative is part of this new paradigm, acquiring sensor data in a non-invasive way, and generating knowledge for decision-making related to predictive maintenance.
Terative is able to acquire data from different industrial measurement instruments and consolidate them in the Cloud, and then analyze them taking into account the context in which they were acquired. For the data analysis, different tools are used within the framework of Cloud Computing and AI, which allow solving the challenges of predictive maintenance.
The connection of Terative to sensor data can be carried out through the plant network or by means of independent networks (for example, by using 4G modems).
